― Dr. Seuss
Caitlin, my mom, my dad, and I were standing in the kitchen. You could smell the remnants of the food that had been served at the trustee party earlier tonight. The sun had just set and the light had just stopped glinting through the window. Caitlin had picked my brothers and me up from school, and driven us home because our parents had to host the party. This and reasons like it are why we see Caitlin. I was standing in the corner looking at the items on the counter while my parents were making plans with Caitlin about when they needed her help. I picked up a piece of ribbon and was playing with it. I was knotting it, wrapping it around my hand, threading it between my fingers. I ended up tying in my hair. Caitlin was grabbing her coat and getting ready to leave. I stated joking around and ended up saying, "Maybe I'll start to just where a bow, I wonder what people would do?" Caitlin wasn't trying to be serious, but she responded With one of the smart things things I have ever heard. "It's not going to hurt anyone" That was Caitlin in a nutshell, completely confident and with a social IQ of 9,000.
Caitlin goes to Massart which stands for The Massachusetts School of Art and Design. She is twenty though she can act much older. Her hair is always some kind of different color, she has tattoos with special meanings scrawled across her skin, and she carries around lollipops in her purse. My parents like to call her Caitland became she lives in her own world while being incredible connected to others feelings and emotions.
Caitlin seems to have understandings of things that people that people spend their whole Trying to figure out. She has a belief that people should just be the way they are. If it's not going to cause anyone physical harm then why should they care. Caitlin is completely comfortable with who she is. She really couldn't care less about what other people think. Caitlin is also really artistic. She is always doing something that is totally interesting and cool. I feel comfortable showing Caitlin all sides of who I am.
Everyone needs to have someone that they can look up to and see a completely confident person. This is important because that means that you will always have some unwavering consistency in your life. Caitlin is one of the best influences I have ever met.
